I checked in late, the night porter was very friendly and helpful! The room was a bit cold for my liking when I arrived and the heating appeared to be off. I was warm enough under the duvet though! Breakfast was well varied, with continental and hot options all available. Very reasonable price for it too. Would happily stay here again.
Very pleasant stay for a few nights. The rooms were nice and staff were all very friendly, good breakfast selection too. The only reason I haven't given five stars is due to restricted parking during busy periods!
Will be back loved our stay was made very welcome all the way through the stay. Greeted on arrival and rooms are so clean and beds are comfy. Was told if wanted anything let staff know def will be back when we are near there.
Really liked my one night here in my room with a view - great location (close by to takeaways & supermarkets); free parking; friendly staff; spacious room & bathroom; comfortable bed; powerful & hot shower; good facilities in room... But, maybe bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, because other guests may be noisy

Very good hotel close to University of Southampton buildings. The receptionist was very kind to change our room because we felt cold. The rooms are nice. The bus stop is close. Sainsburys is also 5 min away. Lots of places to eat nearby.
Good rooms with some nice innovative features that I've never seen in a hotel before, such as a complimentary smart phone to use for the duration of your stay with included mobile data. There is a safe in the room, and the safe has an internal plug to charge devices whilst locked.
Lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and with air conditioning which kept the room lovely and cool on the hot weekend. Had a really nice restaurant next door, Ceno. We'll worth a visit.
A very cheerful and helpful concierge was able to tell us what time we could check out the next day and reassure us that, even though we were going out to a party and would not be back until the early hours, we could still get back into the hotel. It took two staircases for us to reach our room, a double with an ensuite, iron and ironing board, excellent WiFi, and plenty of space for clothes. The mattress was firm and very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Portswood Broadway, where we enjoyed a delicious supper at Mango Thai Tapas Bar last night and a very much needed fry-up at Poppins Café this morning. My only note is that the room was a bit stuffy, even with the windows open. All in all, we had a very pleasant overnight stay in a clean, comfortable, well-decorated establishment, and I would be very happy to stay there again.
